Meet Our Specialists

Dottie Jackson

CEO

Dottie draws her experience from over 20 years of experience in the medical billing and medical front office field.

Before establishing Prestige, Dottie helped to create, implement, and run a medical billing company out of Marysville, WA. Prior to her 5 years of service with this company, Dottie provided accounts receivable recovery services on old debt to Evergreen Hospital, during their software transition. Dottie spent 2 years managing Northwest Family Life's billing and front office. Her previous years were spent with Northwest Alternatives a chemical dependency counselling agency that was based out of Lynnwood, WA. Her extensive experience working with state and federal payers was established during her time at Northwest Alternatives.

Dottie's knowledge of insurance policies, WAC Laws, HIPAA and HITECH Laws allows her to incorporate many different rules and laws into the advice and consulting she extends to Prestige's providers. Having experience managing and maintaining front office and HIPAA polices allows her to bring a unique perspective to her role as CEO.

When she's not running PMBC, Dottie enjoys baking, reading and traveling. Fantastic restaurants, good food, and time with her Husband are the things she truly loves.

Cindy Johnson

Owner/New Account Setup Specialist

Cindy is the Owner/New Account Setup Specialist at PMBC. She wears many hats. Her specialty is new provider set-up. Her organizational skills and patience helps our new providers navigate the structure we have at PMBC. Her teaching and instructions sets our new providers up for success.

She has had many jobs in the past which includes, King County Medical Blue Shield in the COB department, Ace Novelty as the Import/Export Manager and Executive Secretary, Church Secretary at New Horizon Christian Church, and lastly before coming to work here, she was a paralegal for 10 years for a Family Law Attorney in Seattle.

Cindy has 35 years of Personal Assistance/Office Management which provides her with the ability to manage our new provider account set-ups. She is patient and has a wonderful ability to teach our new providers the ropes.

When Cindy is not working, she loves to read, spend time with her grandchildren and family, travel to her family's cabin, and serve others through her church, Church of One Sky Valley.

Shelbi Scott

Billing Manager

Shelbi began her adventure in the medical field in 2005, while she was still in High School, as a Physical Therapy aide. After graduating High School, she continued working at the Physical Therapy clinic, eventually moving up to Assistant Office Manager, which included doing the medical billing for the entire PT office. Between her first days at the PT clinic and now she had tried many other ventures. Shelbi ultimately discovered that medical billing was her passion and what she enjoyed doing most.

Her ability to manage and show compassion and understanding for our staff, ensured us that elevating Shelbi to Billing Manager was not only the right move for PMBC, but for our staff as well.

Shelbi loves to dig, research, investigate and resolve problems, especially when it involves numbers.

When she's not managing the staff and day to day activity at PMBC, you'll find Shelbi outdoors and traveling with her husband.

Krystee Nixon

Account Manager

Krystee started in medical billing in 2011. Prior to medical billing she was a licensed Phlebotomist and supervisor for the third largest laboratory in the country. Her background prior to PMBC is in Orthopedic billing, working for a large Las Vegas Orthopedic clinic. Krystee comes from medical billing roots, following her Grandmothers footsteps, who was in medical billing for over 45 years.

She prides herself on organization and attention to detail. The accounts she manages benefit greatly from these two attributes. She enjoys medical billing because it's like a giant puzzle that she gets to piece together.

Krystee moved to Washington state in 2016 and enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her family.

Cyndi Lanning

Cyndi recently joined PMBC in February of 2018. She started in the field of Medical Billing by attending Everest College and graduating top of her class in 2011. She got started right away after graduation with Acupuncture Billing on a part time basis for 6 years along with working a full-time position in Eatonville doing laboratory billing for almost 4 years.

Cyndi has 2 amazing children, her 19-year-old daughter, who is working on getting into the Airforce and her 18-year-old son, who is a senior in High School.

Samantha Durant

The friendly voice that greets you on the phone at PMBC is Sam Durant.

Sam brought a lightness to PMBC when she joined us in 2017 and has proven that kindness can extend over the phone. Always trying to help our Providers and their patients, she brings professionalism and understanding to each call.

Sam enjoys Cosplay, costume design, writing, drawing and pretty much just creating anything awesome.






PMBC Internship Programs

PMBC actively participates in Internship programs for medical billing through Everest and Edmonds Community College. We are committed to ensuring the next line of medical billers are trained appropriately.
